Capital Markets Originator - Associate Director

Western Capmark is seeking an Associate Director, Capital Markets Origination.

The Capital Markets Origination - Associate Director role is to solicit, originate, review and structure lending products for investors and owner-users of commercial real estate, as well as developing rapport while establishing working relationships with capital sources and financial institutions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

​

• Exercise proper judgment, tact, and diplomacy in dealings and negotiations with all parties.

• Implement strategies through planning initiatives set forth to meet goals and objectives.

• Display the ability to effectively understand and communicate loan pricing, terms, and deal structure.

• Work in an advisory role by offering value through flawless execution, viable solutions, and sound advice.

• Maintain accurate interaction records of all business communications throughout the loan continuum.

• Develop and maintain professional acumen by staying up to date with industry and market periodicals, journals, and news media outlets.

• Other responsibilities and duties newly presented or as needed.

 

Education, Skills, and Experience

​

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (Finance, Economics and/or Real Estate concentration preferred).

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance, commercial real estate, or related field.

• Proficiency in MS Office products, Adobe Acrobat, and ability to learn company software.

• Advanced written and oral communication skills.

• Exceptional relationship building skills in an external-facing role.

• Strategic problem solver able to creatively articulate solutions to address challenges.

• Entrepreneurial minded, self-starter with a strong passion for finance and real estate.

• Exhibit strong organizational skills and an attention to detail.
